CURRENT PROJECTS

  • Independent Curators International

    Mississippi River Basin Initiative

Backwater Truths, a multi-disciplinary exhibition that explores the impact of extreme flooding on Black and Indigenous communities along the Mississippi River, through the lense of contemporary artists who are connected to the Mississippi River Basin. The project is in dialogue with degrees of citizenship that have been produced and maintained along the river. It will showcases Black and Indigenous peoples who have archived these truths in their bodies, speech, and art while imagining new worlds.

  • Brew & Forge Community Project

    Murals as Archives

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

  • The Theatre Offensive

    The Messenger

A musical journey that shares an intimate “coming of age” story about a young Black Indigenous femme, Zanyah, who has been chosen to become the next Messenger for her nation, The In-Between. As Zanyah goes on a spiritual journey with her elders, she meets people that each share a lesson about what Zanyah needs to know about her past, present, and future. The Messenger shares with the audience the complexities, sacredness, and love of what it means to take on the role of a Messenger within a community.
