Black Indigenous Series
I launched the Black Indigenous Series on social media, as a way to engage with the already existing community who is speaking and advocating about the lives of Black Indigenous peoples. This conversation took place on Indigenous People’s Day 2020 with Oromia Indigenous Queer Artist, NASRA. We spoke about what we wanted this series to be, what it means to center Black Indigenous peoples in community, and what we mean by Land Back. It was an enriching conversation that laid the foundation for what is to come with the Black Indigenous Series.
