A Guide Through The InBetween

$10.00

This is the official curriculum guide for The Messenger.

THE MESSENGER is a Black Indigenous play with music that shares an intimate “coming of age” story about a young femme, Zanyah, who has been chosen to become the next Messenger for their nation, The Inbetween. As Zanyah embarks on a spiritual journey, they encounter a lineage of people and histories, each offering a lesson about what Zanyah needs to understand about their past, present, and future. The Messenger shares with the audience the complexities, sacredness, and love of what it means to take on the role of a Messenger within a community.

Staged Reading produced by: The Theatre Offensive

Dramaturgs: Devika Ranjan, Kim Pevia, Shawn Rene Graham

*Once purchased a secured file will be sent to the email you have provided
